Jesus G. "Jesse" Raya, age 59 of University City, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. He was born June 6, 1964 to Miguel and Connie Raya. They have preceded him in death as has his brother Jose Luis. Jesse is survived by his siblings: Miguel Raya (Barbara), Adele Lakin (the late Steve), Diana Stroder; friend Holly Murray; nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Jesse began spinning records at the age of 3 and turned his love for music into a life-long career, becoming a staple in the St. Louis music scene while working at Mississippi Nights and The Pageant, developing countless friendships along the way.
