

He lived most of his life in the house on Morganford that he purchased with his wife, Shirley.
Al made his career in construction, working as both a laborer and business agent for Laborer's Union
Local #42. He worked on many projects in the St. Louis area, including the Poplar Street Bridge.
Later, Al was also a member of the Operating Engineers Union Local #513.
In his free time, he was an avid gardener and could be found outside on the Morganford property either working in the garden or relaxing in the pool.
Al was loved and cherished by all and he will be missed by his wife, Shirley; his children, Ken (the late Karen) Parker and Lana Parker; his grandchildren, Harry, Lindsey, and the late Jason; and his great grandchildren, Ashleigh, Aiden, and Austin. He was a treasured brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend.
Al, your family and friends love you and will miss you. We will cherish your memory and think of all the wonderful moments we were so blessed to share with you.
SERVICES: A Celebration of Al's Life will be held 2pm until time of service at 5pm Saturday, April 26, 2025, Hoffmeister South County Chapel 1515 Lemay Ferry Road, Lemay, MO 63125.
