Eileen was the beloved wife of the late Lucian C. Haney, Jr.; cherished mother of Gary (Deborah Tumulty) Walker, David Haney, Dawn (Steve) Ule, and the late Mary (Steven) Young; loving grandmother of Jennifer (Ron) Irvin, Jim (Denise) Walker, Matthew (Adrianne) Young, Shaun (Kate McCorkle) Haney, Michael (Vonnie) Young, Ryan (Staci) Haney, Zachary (Tehra Zotos) Ule, and Sara Ule; dear great-grandmother of Samantha Harris, Lexie Walker, Jake Walker, Liam Haney, Tate Young, Juliet Haney, and Lola Young; dear aunt, great-aunt, and a friend to many in her long lifetime.
Eileen was a member and past Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star. She was a member of Watson Terrace Christian Church for 60 years and very involved in the Christian Women's Fellowship. She made many wonderful pies and cakes for fundraisers at church. She was an avid gardener. She loved babysitting for her grandkids and spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 30 from 9-10am at Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary, 6464 Chippewa Street 63109. A Funeral Service will follow at 10am. Eileen will be laid to rest with her husband, Lucian, at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
