I worked with Dennis for a number of years with Anheuser-Busch while  we were both based in Atlanta.  We shared many beers together.  He was a wonderful person, kind, friendly.  May God have mercy on my old friend.

He was a very good loyal friend, from the first year we met our freshman year in college and beyond. I will never forget they took our Grandmother Howe to Kirksville to see her very first football game and watch Dennis play, The sparkle in her eyes and to watch her cheer him on was priceless! Always love you, Friend.

Sadly another good one gone too soon. Dennis was bigger than life itself, and lived life his way! He’d walk into a room and all eyes were on him because of his jovial character and not to mention his height! Soooo many good times with him, Johnny and the friend they brought along (we can’t remember his name) at the Lake Ozarks and many weekend trips. One in particular I recall was their family reunion held at a lake resort somewhere, we went and four of us shared this tiny, tiny room….Dennis being a big guy, Johnny 6’+, Tom I think about or close to 6’ and myself (tiny at that time in my life) …what laughter we had, of course there was a fart contest with those 3 but Johnny preferred to call it a salad fest, and swore he smelled vinegar. Dennis was a kind human being and will be greatly missed by  family and friends alike. I hope you and Lynn are having cocktails, and catching up. Rest easy Dennis.
