David attended the Saint Louis Public Schools and graduated from Roosevelt High School. He took pride in his 15-year career at Missouri Beverage Company and most recently worked at the Saint Louis Zoo.
He was outspoken, outgoing and had an amazing sense of humor, making everyone around him laugh. David loved his family with his whole heart and enjoyed firing up the grill to barbeque. He took pleasure in jazz, and watching karate and western movies. He will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him.
David Wayne Shelton, Sr. departed this life on August 26, 2024 leaving behind his beloved sons, Joseph Wayne Shelton and David Wayne Shelton, Jr.; loving grandson Shiloh Shelton, daughter-in-law Daisha Shelton and dearest friend Sam Corrier.
