Charles "Chick" William Thornton, age 68, of St. Louis, Missouri passed away on Friday, May 19, 2023. Born January 12, 1955 to Clarence F. and Dolores Thornton (nee DeArriba). Beloved husband of Linda Thornton (nee Wrinkle); dearest father of Christopher Alan (Amy) Thornton and Lauren Rae (Johnny II) Thornton; Cherished grandfather of Mauricio, Amora, Mason Thornton, Johnny III Thornton and one grandchild soon to arrive. Loving brother of Cindy (Glenn) Hancock; dear Brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend.
Chick was an avid golfer, golf pro, family man and a lover of life itself.
A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday May 24, 2023 at Hoffmeister South County Chapel 1515 Lemay Ferry Rd. Lemay, MO 6315 from 10:00 AM until time of Memorial service at 11:00 AM.
