He passed away peacefully at home at the age of 93 and now joins his beloved wife Norah. He will be lovingly remembered by his children Gary (Marie) and Diane (Stewart) as well as his grandchildren Megan and Nicholas.
Ray was born in Preston, England where he later met and married Norah, his true love for 71 years. Their adventurous spirit brought them to Longueuil in 1953, where they established their careers, made lifelong friends and later began their family. Ray’s kind, caring and easygoing personality, as well as his dry sense of humour, endeared him to everyone he met. He enjoyed coaching soccer, loved a good road trip and sharing fond memories of spending winters in Florida and summers at the family cottage in Vermont. We will miss hearing his favourite “oldies” music and his gentle, loving voice.
Special thanks to his wonderful neighbours Matt, Fay and Viki for their generous support over the years.
