Sarah Grace Froehlich

Sarah Grace (Caradona) Froehlich, Age 83, of St. Clair Shores passed away Tuesday, November 01, 2016 in Detroit, Michigan. Sarah was born February 24, 1933, in Brooklyn, New York the daughter of Joseph & Sarah (Cusumano) Caradona. She will be sadly missed by her Children, Pat (John) Kaiser, Michael (Tina) Froehlich; Grandchildren, Michael and Kevin Kaiser, Michael and Rachel Froehlich; Brother-in-law Fred (Barbara) Froehlich and Nieces & Nephews, Yvonne (Daniel) Logsdon, Loreli (Dennis) Ede, Kristyl Girchner and many Great/Great-great Nieces & Nephews. She was Preceded in death by her parents, her husband Werner, her Sisters Dolly (Maurice) LaBlanc, Rosalie (Louis) Piscopo, Marion (Tom) Goldsmith and In-laws; Fred (Maria) Froehlich, Lore/Jerry Girschner; and her Nephew Joseph (Linda) Piscopo.

Sarah was a loving, caring and generous individual who was loved by many. She was an avid gardener with a love of butterflies and nature. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. On November 3, 1956 she married Werner Froehlich, and he preceded her in death on June 29, 1987. Sarah was one of the original parishioners of St. Germaine before the church was built.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 3rd from 2-8pm with a 7pm prayer service at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Avenue, St. Clair Shores. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 4 at 10:00 at Our Lady of Hope (St. Germaine Church), 28301 Little Mack Ave, St Clair Shores. Entombment at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
