Rita Jeanne Giordano

Rita Jeanne Giordano, age 76, passed away peacefully at home on September 25, 2021. She was born on September 3, 1945 in Detroit, Michigan to her parents Earl and Evelyn Wilson. Rita was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Patrick Hourigan. She is survived by her loving children: Dawn (Joe) Kish, Michael (Michelle) Giordano; grandchildren: Shawn, Ryan (Jessica), Nikki (Graham), Tiffany (Andrew), Timothy (Samantha), Vicki (Jason), Crystal (Mike), Zachary, Nataleigh (Kevin); and great-grandchildren: Robert, Noah, Jaxon, Mariana, Parker, Abigail, Madison, Kelsi, Leighom, Aedan, Angalena, Rebecca, and Olivia. Also left to cherish her memory are many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. Rita loved golfing and her Gully girls. She enjoyed dancing, cribbage, baton twirling, and playing video poker at the casino. Rita was preceded in death by her dear pet Sadie and is survived by her bird Higgins. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for funeral expenses. Visitation, Wednesday, September 29, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a Funeral Service at 6 p.m. in Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores.
