Jennifer Ann Allison, born on November 13th, 1975, departed from this world on Friday, September 15th, 2023, at the tender age of 47. She first graced the world with her presence in Detroit, Michigan, as the cherished firstborn child of Jack Allison and Lois Langley. Jennifer's journey led her through Mt. Clemens High School, and her relentless determination bore fruit when she earned a bachelor's degree in her beloved field of photography from Wayne State University.
Jennifer's love for her family was unwavering. She took immense pride in being a mother of five beautiful children: D’antrez Bailey, Kareema Allison, Coshonna Allison, Jackie Allison, and Keenan Allison. Her heart overflowed with love as she embraced the title of "grandma" to her adored grandchildren, including Korinne “Miss America” Wright, Alijah “Bean” Bailey, Jacobi Wallace, Jacari Wallace, Kahani Wright, Ariah Bailey, and Demetrius “Fat-Man” Swift.
As the eldest sibling to Melissa Allison, Jeffrey Allison, Deborah Allison ‘’Doodlebug’’ and Ryan Allison, Jennifer held a special place in their hearts. She was blessed with six nephews and one niece. She was blessed to be able to share an extensive time with her cousin, Jody Allison, and her three beautiful children, Nicole Allison, Naiya Allison, and Ayana Allison. Jennifer's enduring love and support will forever resonate in the hearts of her surviving family members.
Jennifer possessed a remarkable talent for capturing the world's beauty through the lens of her cameras. Her extensive collection, ranging from DSLRs to vintage Polaroids, mirrored her passion for the art of photography. Through her lens, she froze fleeting moments, etching cherished memories in the hearts of those who knew her.
A true fashion icon, Jennifer's style was a reflection of her vibrant personality. Her outfits were masterfully curated, often centered around her choice of footwear. Her fashion sense inspired those around her and left an indelible mark on anyone fortunate enough to witness her creativity. She maintained an extensive perfume collection, ensuring she always exuded the same elegance as she appeared.
Jennifer's interests were as diverse as her talents. An unwavering love for music that spans many genres and eras. She held a special fondness for comedies and her infectious laughter brightened countless lives. Jennifer's sweet tooth led her on a delightful quest to explore every local bakery, in search of the perfect confection. Her appreciation for life's simple pleasures mirrored her love for sweets.
She had a deep appreciation for nature, especially flowers, and immersed herself in the wonders of the natural world through National Geographic. A devoted cat lover, she showered her grand-kitties and grand-dogs with affection.
Jennifer's memory will forever be associated with her radiant spirit, her boundless love for family, her artistic genius, and her impeccable style. Her vibrant spirit and eclectic tastes have been passed down to her beautiful children and grandchildren, ensuring that her memory will continue to thrive in their hearts and minds. Her passing leaves an irreplaceable void in our hearts, but her legacy will endure through the lives she touched.
