Mona was loving, kind, candid, bubbly, energetic and fun to be with. By the Grace of God, her soul rests in Eternal paradise.

Grandma Mona was such a wonderful person I had the pleasure of knowing. She and I would dance and listen to oldies in the kitchen in our pjs. 

A Tribute To My Mom

If roses grow in heaven, Lord pick a bunch for me.  Place them in my mother’s arms and tell her they’re from me.  Tell her I love her and miss her, and when she turns to smile, place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for awhile.  Because remembering her is easy, I do it every day, but there’s an ache within my heart that will never go away.


As a child you were my security blanket.  Picking me up in the middle of the night from a sleepover because I missed you and didn’t want anything to happen to you while I was away.  You always cheered me on and encouraged me.  You were kind, nurturing, loving, compassionate and strong.  You always had whatever it was I needed.  Whether it was a pair of earrings to match an outfit, a gift bag for a gift, or a safety pin to hold something together.  You wanted to share everything.  You were the most selfless person with the most giving heart.  You loved and cared for my boys like they were your own.   You brought sunshine to the lives of others.  I know you closed your eyes here on earth and opened them in heaven to see Jesus.  I am grateful that God chose you to be my mother.  I will hold precious memories of you close for now and know that your spirit still lives on.  I will see you soon.  I love and miss you.

My deepest condolences to all the family. Art, Larry and Kristine.  My thoughts and prayers. I will always remember us all growing up on Hanson CT.  Mona was a wonderful person.  Id always run into her here n there over the years.  A few times. My mom was with me. They immediately went back in time.  Laughing and talking.  I remember back in the day. Us sharing the party line on the land line phones. (Yes that did exist)  With your grandmother.  Id pick up at times.  If Mona was talking to her.  She would say hi Lois or Doris.  Give us a Italian minute more. Some childhood memories just carry a special meaning to us that live forever.  RIP Mona

My sister Mona was a loving sister. She was full of life. She always gave what she could.. She will be remembered for here get up and go. She loved her family and was a great mother. She will be truly missed. I just wish I could have seen here more. She will always be in my prayers. I know our lord and savior has a special place in heaven just for her. I love u sis. Peace be always with u aways. Brother Augustino.

I loved a visit from my sister-in-law Mona.  She came with a delightful greeting and always a smile.  Her concern for others was a genuine expression of a loving heart.  If you were sad she would weep with you and if life was joyful she delighted in your pleasure.  Never envious, boastful, proud or of a critical spirit.  She wanted the best of life for all her family and friends. Bye for now Mona,  You will be missed.  Alfa. 

Rest easy in heaven darling Aunt Mona . You will be sorely missed . You were a joy to be around and I have some of the fondest memories of you throughout my life .  My mother adored her sister “Mo”. Forever in our hearts .
