Erma Olga Nyiri, age 92, of St. Clair Shores, Michigan passed away on Monday, April 10, 2023. She was predeceased by her mother, Emma V. Kerekes Nyiri, her father Leslie Nyiri, her sister Emma (Dolly) Donaldson (2017), her brother-in-law James Donaldson (2001) and her fiancée and long term companion Henry (Hank) H. Dewey (2016). She was a cherished Aunt Sissy to Robert (Gerry), Doug (Josee), Barbara (Gary) and Lance (Youlanda). Erma will be missed by many family and friends.
Erma retired as secretary to the City Manager of the City of Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan in 1990. She spend some of her retirement years in Lexington, Michigan and Titusville, Florida where she enjoyed golfing with many of the friends she met during her lifetime and in retirement. Her Motto was "Don't get old It's no fun!"
Erma's family would like to extend a special heartfelt thank you to Regency at St. Clair Shores for her extended care.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, beginning at 1:00 pm until time of service at 2:00 pm, at Kaul Funeral Home 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores, Michigan 48081.
Private interment will take place at Lexington Municipal Cemetery next to her fiancée.
Donation in memory of Erma are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association.
