On Monday January 6, 2020, Debra Ann Bell of St. Clair Shores passed away at age 66. She leaves behind her mother Rosemary Meinke, son Christopher Bell (Melissa), son Michael Bell, brother William C. (Gloria) Meinke, grandsons Michael and Andrew, Nieces Ashleigh and Gabrielle. She was preceded in death by her father William F. Meinke.
Debra was born and raised in St. Clair Shores, MI. She graduated Lakeview High School in 1971. Debra became a mother at age 30 and again 2 years later. Her sons, grandsons and Irish Setters were a huge part of her life, and she centered most of her time around them.
Debra was a talented photographer. This started out as a hobby, and she more recently photographed for several prestigious organizations including the Michigan Humane Society, Children’s Hospital, Karmanos Cancer Institute and several others. She owned many Irish Setters over her lifetime and had a passion for dogs, but this breed in particular. She loved traveling to Northern Michigan and was an avid bargain shopper.
Debra was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She will be missed greatly by many.
Visitation Thursday January 9 at 3 p.m. in Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores. Funeral service will be in the funeral home at 7 p.m. that night.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests a donation to The Irish Setter Club of America Foundation.
