Clarence Keith Becker, age 87, of St. Clair Shores, Michigan passed away on March 28, 2022. He was born on May 2, 1934, to the proud parents of Ross and Caroline Becker. Clarence is the beloved husband to Nancy Becker for 68 years. He is the loving father to Kathleen (Randal) Cousineau and Richard Becker. Clarence is the cherished grandfather to Jeremy Cousineau and Chelsea Cousineau. He is the dear brother to the late Elizabeth (the late William) Simon, Kenneth (Ruth) Becker, Ross (Susan) Becker and Lois (the late Michael) Madeleine.
At age 14, Clarence took a job at Pointe Hardware in Grosse Pointe Park to help his family. In 1965 Clarence purchased Pointe Hardware with his friend Robert Brooks. The business was moved to Kercheval and Maryland in 1972 and he worked in the business until he retired in 2005.
Clarence had a great passion for cars. He and his brothers and their sons restored several antique cars. He was very prominent with the Nash club and has received many awards for his cars.
He traveled many places around the world with his wife Nancy, which they always enjoyed.
Family will receive friends on Friday April 8, 2022, beginning with a memorial gathering at 10:00 am, until time of service at 1 pm, at Kaul Funeral Home 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores, Michigan 48081.
Memorials in memory of Clarence are suggested to Accent Care Hospice or Salvation Army.
