Known as “Cindy” to her friends and family peacefully passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 after a courageous battle against cancer. She was surrounded by those who loved her dearly. Beloved wife of Dave Thompson. Loving mother to Jim, David and Darren. Caring stepmother to Bill. She spoiled her grandchildren Sydney, Kyle, Katelyn, Samantha, Charlotte and Grace at every opportunity. Cindy was unlike any other and she will be missed by many.
A visitation is being held at Hulse & English Funeral Home and Chapel at 75 Church Street, St. Catharines, (905-684-6346) on Sunday, May 26, 2013 between 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The following day a service will be held at St. John’s Anglican Church at 80 Main Street, beginning at 11am. In lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations be made to the Niagara Unit of the Canadian Cancer Society.
