Sorry for your loss, thoughts and love will be with you

To Mrs. Deane, Tyler, Kim and families:  I am very saddened to hear of the sudden loss of your husband and father. I have many fond memories of movie nights and other gatherings on Linwell Rd. and will always remember Mr. Deane as a family man who accepted you into his household with a smile and open arms. I am certain that the Deane's had the largest extended family of 'adopted' kids, and we all felt welcome anytime. Many of us called Tylers' parents Mom and Dad, and it was because of how you truly felt when you visited their home. A true gentleman, he will be missed by all who met him. Dearest Margaret and family,

Ron helped me in 1985 to get an insulin pump.  No one heard of them in those days but he researched it and battle with the ministry to cover the $5,000 purchase price.  That pump and I getting the insulin I required saved my life.  I do and will always consider him one of my heroes.  Peace be with you. Love Debra Kirvan

Condolences to everyone who knew and loved Ron. A true gentleman. We shared many discussions (& jokes) while working together with the ministry. Ron, you will be missed.

Margaret, Tyler and Kim, my most sincere condolences! While Ron and I shared a lunch and a long chat now and again, we didn't do that often enough. He was very interested in politics, local, prov. or national. We could get into it, he and I. I'll miss those lunches!

Our deepest sympathy, Margaret, to you and your family; I knew Ron from when we were young children and sang in St. George's church Junior choir and from school days. Words can not express the sadness we feel for all of you at this time. Ron was indeed a special man. We always felt welcome by his robust hello each an every time we entered your home. He was a wealth of knowledge and a wonderful conversationalist, no matter the topic, he seemed to know something about it, which we always found amazing. We are so glad we got to meet and know him.

My Condolences to Mrs Deane, Kim and Tyler. My fondest memories of Mr Deane was that he always welcomed me into your home. He was a kind warm hearted man who always made you feel like you were family. Hanging around the Deane household was always like a second home for me and Mr Deane was a big influence in my life. I always appreciated his humour, his honesty and his general zest for life. I look back with nothing but fond memories.

He will be greatly missed by everyone who ever had the pleasure of setting foot in that household.
