Reg was born on October 15,1949 in Toronto, Ontario to Gerald and Rosemary Garnett.
Reg spent his professional career as a dedicated, skilled and respected pressman, from his early 20's through retirement. He was an avid collector throughout his entire life, starting with comic books as a child, hockey memorabilia, and an accomplished collector of stamps. His love of classic cars was well known, and he passed that passion on to his children, along with his deep affection for Algonquin Park. He loved camping, fishing and canoeing and enjoyed sharing all of these things with family and friends.
He was known for his deep love of Boxers, whose companionship enriched his life over the years.
Reg is survived by his loving wife Joyce nee Higdon; his children: Reg (Debbie), Crystal Black (Rick); Stepchild Nicole Perry (Chad) and his cherished Grandchildren Christopher, Rebecca, Alyssa, Brianna, Megan, Abbey, Isabella, Reg (Jack); Great Grandson Kaycee; his siblings Susan Barr (Jim), Carl (Elaine) and Kelvin.
Friends and Family will be received at Hulse & English Funeral Home & Chapel, 75 Church Street, St. Catharines, Ontario on Wednesday, December 18th, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until the Chapel Service at 1:30 p.m. and burial at Victoria Lawn Cemetery immediately following. Friends and family are invited to a light reception on Wakelin Terrace to share stories and memories.
Reg's family would like to thank the 2B ICU staff at the St. Catharines General Hospital for their unparalleled service and care as Reg spent his final days with family by his side.

Reg's legacy of dedication to his family, his sense of humour, and neighbourly compassion and care will be remembered and missed by all who knew him. He will be missed.
