Helen Mae Anderson Wolfe

Passed away peacefully on December 6, 2011 at McNally House in Grimsby, ON. She was predeceased by her husband Walter (2001) and her parents, August and Amanda Anderson of Bengough, Saskatchewan; brothers Leonard (Frances) and Orval; sisters Myrtle (Orris) Monson, Lillian (Bernie) Mohn, and Gladys (Ernie) Taylor. She is survived by her son Grant, his wife, Mary-Elsie and their two daughters, Eliana and Amy of St Catharines, ON; in-laws Alvin (Erna) Wolfe, Edwin Wolfe, Olga Wolfe and Marie Anderson; many nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces and good friends whom she loved dearly. Helen was a devoted fan of the Blue Jays and her beloved Saskatchewan Rough Riders. She was always up for a good game of bridge or any cards and enjoyed listening to talk radio.

A service celebrating her life will be held at Anchor Pointe, 1st floor Alcove, 540 Ontario Street, St. Catharines, 10:30 am, Saturday, December 10th. A gathering for friends and family will be held in Regina, SK in the Spring of 2012. Notification of time and place will be in the Leader Post at a later date.

A special thank you goes to the staff at McNally House, the Orchards and the Palliative Care team for making her journey the last couple of months more comfortable.
