On behalf of Paul and the family, our deepest gratitude to all of you for your love and support over the past few days. We are looking forward to the opportunity to come together to celebrate Cathy’s life and the impact that she had on all of our lives.
On Saturday, November 4, 2017, there will be a service at 11 am at Queen St. Baptist Church, 57 Queen St. in St. Catharines (905-684-6264) to celebrate Cathy’s life where we will remember and celebrate the joyful impact that she had on all of our lives. Following the service, there will be a reception at St. Catharines Golf & Country Club where we can come together to share some fun stories and memories. During the reception we will be displaying a number of photographs showing happy memories with Cathy over the years. We would appreciate anyone with good photos to share to send them to [email protected] to be included in the presentation.
Cathy loved the community that she was a key part of, and shared her energy with many community groups including Queen St. Baptist Church. In retirement, Cathy found her work at the Child Advocacy Center Niagara particularly rewarding. She was committed to supporting their work with children and youth who are the victims of physical and/or sexual abuse. In Cathy’s memory, the Center has created a fund that will support a new children’s program that utilizes art therapy as part of the healing process. Anyone who wishes to learn more about the center can find information at www.kristenfrenchcacn.org. Donations to “Cathy’s Kids” will be accepted by calling or mailing donations directly to the center. This fund will be set up to also accept donations through the Center’s website.
While we all are mourning our loss, we look forward to many friends and family gathering to celebrate Cathy’s life.
God Bless
Paul, Jeff, Craig
