William Edward Doll Jr. age 76 of St. Ann Mo Passed away December 1, 2021. William was born July 2, 1945. He is preceeded in death by his parents William and Lucille Doll, Sisters Carolyn (Warren) Runge, Darlene Doll, and Shirley Herr. William is survived by his beloved wife Patricia Doll, his daughters, Sheri ( Tim ) Sonko, Connie ( Jacob) Burris, Carrie ( Jasen ) Vandiver, grandkids Kelsey Doll ( Aaron Womble), Devan Sonko, Shelby Nogle ( Joe Mcnamara), Elijah Vandiver, Aylssa Burris, JT Burris, Zoey Burris, and great grandson Oliver Womble , and many nieces and nephews.
William enlisted in the Army August 12, 1965 through August 11, 1971. While serving he was US arms vehicle mechanic received national defense service metal as a sharpshooter. William married Patricia Jean Pickett August 8, 1970. The following year they welcomed their first-born Sheri Christine Doll, and five years later they welcomed their twin daughters Connie Lyn Doll, and Carrie Ann Doll which was a complete surprise to them. They were only expecting one child and to their surprise they were bringing home twin baby girls.
William loved reading his newspaper and doing the crossword puzzles; he loved to shop and spend time with his family. William also loved to spend time with extended family from The Office where they played video bowling and drank bud light. William also loved to cook and was known for his chocolate covered strawberrys and caramel popcorn. William’s grandson Devan always teased him and called him Silver Fox. William often found himself in Facebook jail for some of his silly post about the NFL and Coca Cola.
William will be missed dearly by his family. He was their rock and was always the one to go to for approval no matter the circumstances. His friends were like family as well, and they will also miss him but never forgotten. He will forever be in our hearts.

A public visitation for William will be held Monday, December 27, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Alexander - White - Mullen Funeral Home, 11101 Saint Charles Rock Road, St. Ann, MO 63074. Burial will follow the next day, Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, 2900 Sheridan, Jefferson Barracks, MO 63125.
