Walter Leroy Ray, age 85, of Catawissa, Missouri passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024. He was born December 19, 1938 to Ollie E. and Florance May (nee: Bryant) Ray. They have preceded him in death, as have his loving wife Judith (nee: Lowery), his brothers: Harold, Jerry, Robert, Don, and Ron. He is survived by: his children: Nancy Ray, Linda Ray, Walter Scott Ray (Susan); his grandchildren: William "Cody", Kaycee, Jeremy; his great-granddaughter Winnie; his sisters: Joan Coyle (the late Mike), Carol Coyle (Larry), Shirley Armstrong; and other relatives and friends.
Walter was an avid gardener, and enjoyed the outdoors, including fishing, boating, and being on the water in general. He loved watching football, especially with his son Walter.
A Memorial Service is planned for Friday, 1/26/24 at 11:00 at the funeral home, with visitation prior beginning at 10:00, and burial following at Mount Lebanon Cemetery with full Military Honors.
