Sonja Marie Staten, age 81, of Breckenridge Hills, Missouri passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2023.She was born July 25, 1942 to the late Wayne and Doris (nee King) Kitch. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Ronal Travirca. Sonja leaves behind her beloved husband, Michael Staten, along with her brother-in-law, Gene Staten, and a sister-in-law, Mary Armstrong.
Her life was a garden of vibrant colors and fragrant blooms, tended to with care and admiration. Her husband, Michael transformed seedlings into breathtaking masterpieces that mirrored the beauty she found in every petal stem. Beyond the garden, she found joy in the world of television, a bouquet of stories, characters, and diverse series that brought her both entertainment and solace. In her memory, let us remember the vibrant hues she brought to our lives and the she cherished the blossoms, both floral and narrative, that added richness to her days.
A private service will be held, and Sonja will be laid to rest at Mount Lebanon Cemetery 11101 St. Charles Rock Road, St. Ann, MO.
