Maurice Verner-EL, age 70, of St. Louis, Missouri passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2023. He was born April 18, 1953, in St. Louis, Missouri. He was a graduate of Sumner High School. His Moorish faith was very important to him. He is survived by: Children: Randy Lee Bailey, Maurice Bailey (Laura), Stacy Vernell Bailey; Daughter-in-law Simone Townsend; Grandchildren: Raven Cohen Bailey, Steven Townsend, Tarron Townsend, Kordell Bailey, Aaliyah Bailey, Gabrielle Bailey; and his brother Gregory. Maurice is preceded in death by his mother Catherine Wellington, and his son Maurice De' Leon Hoskins.
