Lois Gail Beauchamp, age 90, of Hazelwood, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2024. Preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Marie (nee Longar) Todd, and her husband, Lowell Beauchamp. Lois is survived by her children; Richard (Paula) Beauchamp, Timothy (Jeanne) Beauchamp, and Tamara (James) Moore. She was a loving grandmother to Danielle (Dannie) Hankins, Tiffany (Pat) O’Reilly, Hillary (Chris) Nobe, Ryan (Mandi) Beauchamp, Stephen (Tara) Beauchamp, Jessica (Josh) Quivey, Jacqueline (Nathanial) Kamp, Jonathan (Anne) Beauchamp, Joshua (Kaye) Beauchamp, Emily (Kyle) Warren, Tyler (Amanda) Moore, and Trent (Jesi) Moore, along with twenty-nine great-grandchildren.
A pillar of faith, Lois played a pivotal role as one of the founders of the Church of Christ in Florissant. Her commitment to studying the Bible reflected her profound spirituality. Lois found joy in reading, particularly her beloved Amish Christian love stories. Before retirement, she served as the director at the Christian Family Daycare in Florissant, leaving a lasting impact on the community she cared for deeply. Family meant everything to Lois, and she lovingly tended to her home. Together with her late husband Lowell, they found solace in gardening, reaping the bounties that filled her canning jars. Their shared passion for travel took them on journeys across the United States, creating cherished memories.
Lois Beauchamp’s legacy is one of faith, love, and family, as testament to a life well-lived and leaves an indelible impact of those who were fortunate enough to know her. May she rest in peace.
A visitation for Lois will be held Friday, February 2, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Church of Christ-Florissant, 16460 New Halls Ferry Road, Florissant, MO 63031, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. A private internment is planned where Lois will be laid to rest at Mount Lebanon Cemetery in St. Ann, MO.
