Ida Mae Morris

Ida Mae Morris, formerly of Breckenridge Hills, Mo, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2023 at the age of 89. Ida was the devoted wife of the late Eugene Morris, who preceded her in death in 2012. Loving mother of Robert (Jeannie) Morris, Terry (Linda) Morris, Gail (Mike) Fileccia and the late Donald Morris. Cherished grandmother of Bobby Morris, Mark (Amy) Morris, Anthony (the late Sheila) Morris, MaryAnn (Eric) Whitman, Rebecca (Jason) Neal, Kenneth (Kristi) Morris, Zachary (Ashleigh) Morris, Mike Huskey- Morris, Sherry Morris, Terry (Sara) Morris, Jessica (Tim) Alexander, Cody (Katie) Morris, Danny (Shelly) Benton, Holly (Jesse) Drake, Amanda Benton. Treasured Great-grandmother of 41. Dearest sister of Norma ( the late Joseph) Rousan, Mary (Don) Hodo and Judy (Dale) Burnett. Ida is also survived by many nieces, nephew, other relatives and friends.

Ida was also preceded in death by her parents, John and Thelma Gillespie and her great- grandson Gabe Rupp.

In earlier years, Ida enjoyed reading, gardening and going outside to work on her flowers. She enjoyed old country music, looked forward to going out to eat and a day spent at the beauty shop. One of her newest favorites was Facebook. She always enjoyed posting and waiting for her kids and grandkids to reply and she checked it often. Ida was known for wanting to take care of everyone and she was always looking for ways to help anyone that she could and that included keeping everyone fed with her amazing meals. Most importantly, Ida loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

A visitation for Ida will be held Friday, January 13, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Alexander - White - Mullen Funeral Home, 11101 Saint Charles Rock Road, St. Ann, MO 63074. A funeral service will occur Friday, January 13, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 11101 Saint Charles Rock Road, St. Ann, MO 63074. A committal service will occur Friday, January 13, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Lake Charles Park Cemetery, 7775 St. Charles Rock Rd, St. Louis, MO 63114.
