Edythe K. Griese passed away peacefully, on Aug. 20, 2013. She is the wife of the late Frank H. Griese; mother of William (Carol) Griese, Karen Smith; and mother-in-law of Jim Allen. Preceded in death by daughter Judy Allen; Grandmother of Cathy (Jim) Alford, Jim (Angie) Allen, Chad (Janine) Smith, Matthew W. Smith, Julie Griese and Biff (Mechelle) Griese; great-grandmother of Crystal Allen, Candis (Justin) Bond, Isabella Smith, Julia, Anna and Jocelyn Griese; great-great grandmother of Natilia Bond; Sister of Howard J. Wilkinson Jr., and Mary Alice Piestrup. Mrs. Griese was involved with missions, Bible Study and was a Sunday School teacher.
Funeral Service 11:30 am, Mon., Aug. 26, Alexander-White-Mullen Funeral Home, 11101 St. Charles Rock Road, St. Ann. Interment, Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. Visitation is at the funeral home 4-8 pm Sun. Aug. 25.
