Dorothy Marie Langley (nee OShia), 90, of Winfield, MO passed away on Friday, December 9, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Annie Mae (nee Vilmer) OShia and her brothers, Lenas (survives Marie) OShia, Willard (Norma) OShia, Homer (Rosemary) OShia, and Louis (Betty) OShia. Dorothy is survived by her husband of 38 years, Hubert Langley; daughter, Sharon Ann (Ken) Spencer; son, Norvell “Fred” Meyer, Jr; Pamela (the late Tim) Mayfield, and Kathleen (Tom) Eilers; grandchildren, Kenny Spencer, Kristine Spencer, Daniel (Jennifer) Spencer, Luke Meyer, Stephanie (Craig) Steinmeyer, Heidi Andres, Kyle Eilers, Lindsey Gibbons, Adroena Eilers, Christina Geiler, Deborah Mayfield, Matthew Mayfield, Danielle Mayfield, Andrea Ragsdale and John Meyer; great grandchildren, Kenneth Spencer III, Chelsea Collins, Michaela Collins, Coleman Spencer, Adam Spencer, and Luke Spencer; great great grandson, Kenneth Spencer IV; and her sisters, Josephine (the late Bob) Richter and Yvonne Melton.
Dorothy retired after 30 years from General Motors. She was a proud member of the UAW Local 25, the ladies VFW auxiliary post in Winfield, MO, and the Order of the Eastern Star. She loved her family and was an amazing cook. Her chicken and dumplings were everyone’s favorite! She also loved BINGO and spending time at the casinos. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure to have known her.
Friends may visit on Monday, December 12, 2016 from 4-8 p.m. Funeral service is on Tuesday, December 13 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. Expressions of condolence may be offered at www.alexanderstlouis.com.
