Connie Lou Huffman, age 89, of Saint Louis, Missouri passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2024. She was born in Corning, Arkansas April 27, 1934, to Rufus Clay and Alva Florence (nee: Beasley) Bolen. They have preceded her in death, as have her son Curtis Huffman, her siblings: Nelson Bolen, Glenda Schultz, and Jane Donica. She is survived by: her son Kevin (Joanne) Huffman; her granddaughters: Jocelyn Huffman, Leah (Michael) Wynn; her great grandchildren: Layla, Saturn, Noel, and Huxley.
As a girl, Connie picked cotton and plowed fields with a mule. She was a hard worker, working three shifts in one week while at Wonder Bread. She was also a "lover of life" who successfully ran two businesses to support her two sons on her own. She worked very hard to provide for her sons, even walking to work to save money for groceries for them.
A visitation for Connie will be held Friday, February 16, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Alexander - White - Mullen Funeral Home, 11101 Saint Charles Rock Road, St. Ann, MO 63074, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM.
