Carol Irene Rader (nee Pemberton), passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 7th, 2024. She was a beloved mother, cherished grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She is survived by four of her six children: Raymond Rader, Jr., Debbie (Marty) Robinson, Karen Rader Buckley, Keith (Carrie) Rader; her sister Betty (Donald) Fussner; and her brother Daniel Pemberton. She has 19 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren and was a loving sister, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, and friend. She is preceded in death by two daughters, Jamie Pemberton and Sharon Rader Barteau; her beloved parents, Kemper and Ella (Kitchen) Pemberton; her dear sister, Rosella (Dolly) Aman; brothers Arthur (Art), Kemper (Sonny) and Darrel Pemberton. Carol’s most treasured role was being a mother and grandmother. She was a mother figure to many throughout her lifetime. She loved spending time with her family and was always eager to cook for them. She enjoyed reading and collecting cookbooks, cooking, painting and gardening. Her faith in Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ was unwavering. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was the foundation of our family and will be deeply missed, always remembered and forever loved.

A visitation for Carol will be held Thursday, April 11, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Alexander-White Mullen Funeral Home, 11101 Saint Charles Rock Road, St. Ann, MO 63074. A second visitation will occur Friday, April 12, 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1401 S Henke Rd, Lake Saint Louis, MO 63367, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Carol will be laid to rest at Mt Lebanon Cemetery, 11101 St Charles Rock Rd, Saint Ann, MO 63074.
