Virginia A. Barry

Virginia Barry passed on August 31, 2015 in Springfield, VA at the age of 92. She was the beloved wife of the late John J. Barry and loving mother to Patricia, John, James, Paul, and Reilly Barry. Virginia was the cherished sister of Frank Dolan and was predeceased by her parents Thomas and Anne Dolan and her three sisters and two brothers. She was a grandmother to 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Virginia was preceded in death by her loving companion of 10 years, Jack Bell.

Virginia worked in education for many years, serving as a secretary. She was loved and admired by all who had the pleasure to know her and will be remembered as an interesting, knowledgeable, kind, and generous woman. She will also be remembered for her humor and wisdom, as well as her fiery spirit.

Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life service that will be held on Saturday September 19, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Demaine Funeral Home, 5308 Backlick Rd, Springfield, VA 22151.
