Richard Arden Hunt

81 years old Beloved husband, father, grandfather, passed away from heart failure at his home, surrounded by his family, on September 23, 2018. He is survived by Chloe R. Hunt, his wife of 59 years; children Shannon Hunt (Keith) Garvin, Kim Hunt (Mike) Gombert; grandchildren Christie White and Cary White; and sisters Phyllis Sharp of Colorado and Margaret Dougherty of Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Maxine (nee Holloway) Hunt, son Stuart Hunt, and brother William Hunt. Richard proudly served in the US Army and worked in management for Bell Atlantic and Verizon telephone companies for 37 years. He was a longtime volunteer with the Braddock Road Boys’ Club as well. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 29 at 1 pm at Blue Ridge Cemetery, Thurmont, MD.
