Margaret Sharkey was my mother's youngest sibling and forever known  to me as  "Aunt Margie'.  She was about 7 years older than I was and because I am the firstborn of  my 4 sisters and 1 brother,  Aunt Margie was almost like an older sister to me during the time we both grew up in a Hungarian neighborhood in Cleveland, Ohio.  One of our favorite activities was sitting around Grandma's table with coloring books and large boxes of crayons, always trying to find favorite colors to make beautiful pictures.   I have many more memories, but one of my favorites was the day of my Confirmation when Aunt Margie helped with my stockings (they had seams in the back and were supposed to be straight).  We shared some secrets over the years and she helped me with some 'growing up' problems.  Some years later she and her daughters moved to Virginia and we sometimes visited them.  I will always miss her even though I know she will always remain a part of me. 

She was one special lady she took me in has Another daughter after my mother passed away , I felt I could talk to her about anything she always had that Listening ear . We would always tease About going out dancing and bar Hopping and finding ourselves boyfriends. She surely will be missed.

I will miss all the good times we had together.  We were more than mother and  daughter.  We were friends.  I remember Travis saying if you call mom and she doesn't answer and you call grandma and she doesn't answer don't worry.   They are together and won't be home till the stores close.  

Though you are no longer here you will always be in my heart.
