Gordon Wallace Causey

Gordon Causey passed in peace on Monday, March 22, 2021 at 94 years old. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Anna Belle and sons Neal & Brian. Loving father of Mark, Beth (Lew) Coyner and Lea (Joe) Cox. Proud grandfather of Emily, Sarah, Kim, Jennifer, Katie, Sean, Kyle, Joe, Melissa, Christine, Kristin, Alex & Andrew. Great grandfather to Jada, Kaya, Amara, Evelyn, Harper & Ellie. Gordon will be fondly remembered by family and friends. Some of his favorite activities were bowling, playing pool, tennis and participating in the Senior Olympics. He loved classical music, bagpipes and listening to his son in law and his late son play guitar. Other pastimes he enjoyed were painting, drawing with pastels and calligraphy. He also loved history & traveling. Gordon spent many years as a Eucharistic minister for Queen of Apostles Catholic Church. He was very proud of his service as a PFC in the US Army during WW II. The years after the war were spent working with the Chief of Staff of the Army, Defense Intelligence Agency and Central Intelligence Agency. Memories of Gordon will be held in our hearts. He will be missed by all. Viewing will be held at Demaine Funeral Home in Springfield, VA on Monday, April 5, 2021 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm Funeral Mass will be at Queen of Apostles Catholic Church on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at 11:00 am Interment to follow at Quantico National Cemetery at 2:00 pm
