On April 17, 2018, Annemarie peacefully passed away at The Fairfax. She was born in Switzerland in 1923. She married Stefan Krashevski in 1947, and immigrated to America. They traveled the world together with the Foreign Service and USAID, and then settled in Mt Vernon.
She enjoyed sewing, needlepoint, gardening, other artistic endeavors, and was the consummate entertainer. She is survived by her sons, Steven Krashevski and Richard Krashevski, and three grandchildren, David, Jonathan and Anna. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Stefan Krashevski (1989) and George Von Arb (1997).
Visitation will be on Sunday, April 22 from 12-2pm at the Demaine Funeral Home, 5308 Backlick Rd, Springfield, VA. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 23 at 11:30am at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 8701 Mt. Vernon Hwy, Alexandria, VA. Interment to follow at Fairfax Memorial Park, 9900 Braddock Rd, Fairfax, VA.
