She was born on June 11, 1941 in Springfield, the daughter of the late Ted Curtis and Beulah (Musick) Pierce. She married Herschel Lee Cass, Jr. on Aug. 26, 1966 and he preceded her in death on Jan. 9, 2012.
Wilma worked as a bank teller for Land of Lincoln Bank (Now U.S. Bank. She later worked at Concord Custom Cleaners and was a Foster Grandmother at Feitschan’s. She was a member of Williamsville Christian Church.
She is survived by her 1 daughter Barbara (Charles) Rogers of Sherman; 4 sons, Paul (Mary) Cass, Mark (Aimee) Cass, Herschel “Lee” Cass III, and James “Jim” (Rhondalea) Cass, all of Springfield; 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents and her husband she was preceded in death by 1 sister Barbara Jean Walker.
Services are under the direction of Bisch Funeral Home West, Springfield. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2020 from 4 to 7 pm at Williamsville Christian Church, 201 S. Old Route 66, Williamsville, IL. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday,, Nov. 25, 2020 at 10 at the church with burial to follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery, Springfield.
