He was born on March 12, 1955 in Springfield, the son of the late Bud and Nona (Berry) Reynolds. He married Tammie Seitz on August 30, 1997 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Springfield and she survives.
Wayne worked as a welder for Fiat Allis. He loved music, spending time with his family (especially his grandkids), and his dogs.
Besides his wife Tammie, he is survived by his 3 children, Jeremy (wife Carrie) Reynolds of Chicago, IL, Michael Reynolds of Springfield, and Tesla (husband Jesse) Taielua of Springfield; 2 brothers, Allen Reynolds of Springfield and Daniel Reynolds of Springfield; 1 sister Cathy (husband Walt) Fox of Springfield; 5 grandchildren, Harlie, Destiney, Jerimiah, Gabriel, and Aliza; Sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Elaine Reynolds, John (wife Patty) Seitz, Laurie (companion Chris) Miller, Don (companion Kim) Seitz, Sarah (husband Gerald) Sneider, Shannon Stevens, and Kathy (husband Delmar) Lockenour; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Gary Reynolds; a nephew Joey Sandhaas; a niece Shannon Bridges; and a brother-in-law Peter Seitz.
Services are under the direction of Bisch and Son Funeral Home, 505 E. Allen, Springfield, where visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 from 4 pm until time of the funeral service at 6 pm. Cremation rites will follow and a private inurnment will take place at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
