Ella Violet Nyberg, 93, of Springfield, died on August 3, 2010. She was born January 10, 1917 in Christian County, the daughter of Henry Haskins and Iva Ella Roberts Pruett. Violet married Rudolph Nyberg who preceded her in death on November 19, 1972. Violet was a member of First Assembly of God Church. Violet was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Mary Petro; son, Rudy Nyberg; sisters, Victoria Oyler, Hazel Robinson, Edith Moore, Marie Womack; brothers, Elzie Pruett, Paul Pruett, Noble Pruett, Hobart Pruett, and Burl Pruett. She is survived by one son, Ronald (Tisa) Nyberg of Springfield, IL; four daughters, Loretta "Rita" (Bob) Leahy of Orlando, FL, Sandy Nyberg of Buffalo Hart, IL, Kandis (Jerry) Sullivan of Clarksville, TN, and Debbie (Mike) Perino of Springfield, IL; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A private family graveside service was held.
