Timothy R. Christian

Timothy "Tim" Ray Christian, 59, of Springfield, IL, passed away at Memorial Medical Center on December 16th 2024. Tim was born on January 31, 1965 in Great Falls, Montana, the son of Denyle "Butch" Christian and Mary (Broux) Littrell.

Tim graduated from Southeast High School in 1983. Professionally he worked as a lineman at AT&T for 18+ years. He also spent many years as machine specialist for both GSI and Design Corrugating in Taylorville.

Timothy was an avid model builder. He loved carpentry, ships, and the Steelers. He was a loving son, father, grandfather and friend.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather Mary and Henry Littrell of Springfield, IL; his children Cory (Elizabeth) Christian, Kelsey (Will) Christian-Freeman, and Taylor Christian, all of Springfield, IL. a brother Brian (Rae Anne) Littrell, a sister Theresa Stokes of Ramsey, IL., and several grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father Denyle "Butch" Christian, a brother Lonnie Christian, a sister Tammy Christian and his girlfriend Naomi Brown.

A memorial gathering will be held on Monday December 23, 2024 from 1:00pm-3:00pm at Bisch and Son Funeral Home, 505 East Allen Street.
