Sharon last worked at SIU School of Medicine. She felt it was a privilege to work and took great pride in keeping her home. She deeply loved her family. She is survived by a son Mark E. Her expanded family since 2001 has included the residents and staff at Prairie Village Healthcare in Jacksonville. She was an encouragement to her world. Her love and friendship is cherished by all who shared her life. She was the family's caregiver from the earliest age. FAMILY meant everything to her. Besides her 3 children, she was Mom to many, SAM to some, Aunt Sharon to others, and Grandma Sharon to her 3 charming grandsons. She longed to join her parents, brothers, uncles and aunts in Heaven's glory and we are sure she has now found the peace that she has longed for throughout the past 16+ years.
