Mary C. Sheehy

Mary C. Sheehy, 76, of Springfield, passed away at 8:20 a.m. Saturday, April 27, 2002 at her residence. Mary was born July 8, 1925 the daughter of Michael and Philomena Varriano Roneck in Duluth, MN. She married Gerald Sheehy October 3, 1953 in Duluth, MN and they were married for 48 years. Mary was an accountant employed by the State of Illinois, and previously by Minnesota Power and Light. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Parish and enjoyed reading, music, bridge and travel. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Louise Roneck. She is survived by her husband: Gerald Sheehy of Springfield, her daughter Therese Sheehy of Chicago and her son Xavier (wife, Debbie) and granddaughter Lauren of Park Ridge, Illinois. Friends may call at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home from 5-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2002 where rosary will be recited at 5:00 p.m. Concelebrated Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m Wednesday, May 1, 2002 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with Very Reverend Kevin Vann and Reverend Wilfred Sheehy celebrants. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church 1725 S. Walnut, Springfield, IL 62704. The family of Mary C.
