Lowell "Rusty" H. Robinson, 66, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home in Carlinvile, IL on January 5, 2017. He was born the son of Brady C. and Clara Robinson on January 28, 1950 in Alabama. He married Sarah (Williams) Robinson on May 9, 1976; she survives him. Rusty has five surviving children, Brian Clardy (Jessica Trott), Christopher Robinson (Amanda Teaney-Robinson), Jason Robinson, and Steven Robinson, all of Jacksonville, and Cynthia Grey (Eric Tosh) of Carlinville. Also surviving are four sisters, Sue Brock of Alabama, Lavada Cook of Georgia, Myra Brasfield (Jimmy) of Alabama, and Nancy Rogers (Chris) of Alabama. Rusty was also blessed with 16 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Brady C. and Clara. He proudly served our country during the Vietnam War as an Air Force Mechanic. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, reading, and any type of gaming. His presence in all of our lives will be sorely missed!
