Jordan was born on November 7, 1988, in Los Angeles, CA, the son of Jackie Charnley. He married Taija “Ty” Covington on September 26, 2009, in Springfield.
Jordan attended Greenville College, where he met his wife, and he worked for Midwest Broadcasting Group as a Business Development Executive. He was a sports fanatic and coached Nova’s soccer team. He was a fantastic cook and grill master, a sneaker head, and enjoyed riding motorcycles. Jordan was loud, opinionated, charismatic, and talked to everyone he met. He was a big kid at heart and above all, he adored his family.
Jordan was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, and father-in-law.
He is survived by his wife, Taija Charnley of Springfield; daughters, Nova Noel, age 9, and Quinn Estelle, age 2; mother, Jackie (Gary Good) Charnley of Kansas City, KS; mother-in-law, Carla Covington of Springfield; brother-in-law, Trae (Maggie) Covington of Springfield; bonus parents, Patricia and Charles Holmes of Orange Co., CA; beloved dogs, Zero and Mabel; and an enormous group of friends and family.
Cremation was provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center.
Memorial Gathering: Family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 26, 2023, at Butler Funeral Home-Springfield, 900 S. Sixth St., Springfield.
