She was born September 27, 1954, in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Clarence and Jean.
Debra graduated from Southeast High School and was employed as a server at MCL Cafeteria. She previously worked as a case worker for DCFS. Debra was a member of West Side Christian Church and enjoyed watching classic television shows, going out to dinner with friends, and walking at the mall.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Sharon; and brother.
Debra is survived by her sons, Joel (Susan) and Jason; grandchildren, Tristan and Randi; siblings, Jim (Debbie), David (Kathy), and Susie; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many close friends.
Cremation was provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center.
The family will host a Celebration of Life from 2:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at Westside Christian Church, 2850 Cider Mill Lane, Springfield, IL 62702.
