Christina Rose Flagg

She was born on January 3, 1946, the daughter of Sam and Frances Menendez LaFura. She married Albert Flagg on March 19, 1966.

Christina loved attending church, playing bingo, and driving around. Most of all, she loved to spend time with her family. Christina graduated from Ursuline Academy in 1964. She worked and volunteered for the Riverton School District for over 40 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Mary McCloughan; and grandson, Anthony Frantz.

Christina is survived by daughters, Sherry (Mike) Churchill of Sequim and Shelly (Derek Bergschneider) Flagg of Springfield; grandchildren, David (Morgan) Frantz and John (Cortlyn Blakeman) Oxford; great-grandchildren, Gabby and Cooper; and grand-dog, Diesel.

Funeral Ceremony for Christina Rose Flagg will be at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, November 19, 2023, at Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield, with Celebrant Judy Woerner officiating. The family will receive guests from 2:30 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. prior to the ceremony.

Graveside Ceremony for Christina will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 20, 2023, at Calvary Cemetery.
