Charles Edward Burnett, “Charlie” was born on May 2, 1934 in Fancy Prairie, Illinois. Charlie died on June 27, 2023 with his wife, Marjorie, by his side.
Charlie and Marjorie resided in Vero Beach, Florida for the past 24 years where they were members of Christ By The Sea United Methodist Church. Charlie has 3 children, Jacqueline Sue (Harvey) Binder, Keith Michael (Melanie) Burnett, and Brett Allen (Christine) Burnett.
Charlie’s wife and family invite you to a memorial service on August 18, 2023 at 10:00am at Bisch Funeral Home West, 2931 Koke Mill Road in Springfield. Military Honors will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery. Charlie’s Celebration of Life will conclude with a luncheon at the Bisch Funeral Home West event room after the burial.
