Barbara M. Stevens, 86, of Springfield, formerly of Chicago, passed away at 5:45 p.m., Monday, May 7, 2001 at Memorial Medical Center. Barbara was born December 21, 1914 the daughter of John and Mildred Perakovich Maskey in Livingston. She married Harold C. Stevens in 1937 in Chicago. He preceded her in death July 19, 1987. Mrs. Steven's was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harold C. Stevens; three brothers, John, Joseph and Thomas Maskey. She is survived by one son: Robert C.J. Stevens of Chicago ; one daughter: Bonny Boosales, (husband, James) of Palm Harbor, FL. ; four sisters: Catherine Bryant, Mary Fox, Mildred Caldieraro and Norma Maskey and six grandchildren. Friends may call at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home and Cremation Tribute Center from 11-12:00 p.m. Friday, May 11, 2001. Funeral Services will be at 12:00 p.m., Friday, May 11, 2001 with Reverend Rodney Schwartz officiating. Burial of cremated remains will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 14, 2001 at Calvary Cemetery.
