She was born in Big Stone Gap, VA on March 5, 1929. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lee and Bertha Miller Clarkston; husband, Edward Marvin Cox; grandson, Myron F. Cox Jr; daughter-in-law, Brenda Creech Cox; three brothers; Harold, Hershel and Gene Clarkston; and three sisters; Virginia Ely, Roberta Fleenor and Audrey Shook.
She is survived by her four sons: Terry (Joyce), Myron, Michael and Rodney; eight grandchildren: Angela, Carmella, Joanna, Teresa, Crystal, Sheila, Nathan and Natalie; 18 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; and two sister-in-laws; Charlene Cozart and Patricia Howard.
Ramona was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She loved reading, gardening, cooking, looking through photo albums, quilting, listening to Elvis music and most of all spending time with her family. As a young girl, she played basketball for her school and loved playing the drums.
A private funeral with family is planned for Monday, February 21, 2022 at Anderson Funeral Home in Franklin, Ohio with Rev. Trevor Bridgeford officiating.
Ramona will be laid to rest at Miami Valley Memory Gardens 1639 Lytle Five Points Road Centerville, Ohio 45458.
