Lowell Thomas Barron

Lowell (Tom) served four years (1952-1957) in the U.S. Navy as a boiler operator aboard the USS Allagash. He then relocated to New Carlisle, OH and spent his civilian career working as a printing press operator at the McCall's Corporation/Dayton Press from where he retired.

Tom is survived by his daughters, Brenda Barron of Centerville, OH and Tracy Holland (David) of Springboro, OH; his grandchildren, Ross Gudorf, Chase Murphy and great grandchildren, Declan Murphy, and Olivia Murphy.

He was a loving husband to Judie Barron for 67 years.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, boating, and SASS Cowboy Shooting where he won many trophies for superior marksmanship. His claim to fame in the outdoor sports department was mastering barefoot water skiing.

In addition to his wife Judie, he is preceded in death by his mother, Mary L. Hayre and his grandson, Spencer A. Murphy.

A Private Family Memorial Service will be held at Springboro Cemetery Chapel on Friday December 1, 2023.
