John was born December 3, 1959 in Torrington, CT. John had a long career in medical sales as well as medical clinic management. He loved his family, wine, hockey, skiing, and doing anything active in the outdoors. John has had a positive impact on many kids in the Springboro community as a coach of several teams for his 3 children (soccer, baseball and lacrosse). John was a lighthearted, fun-loving guy who could light up a room with his smile and knew how to make light of difficult situations with his sense of humor. He was such a kind, compassionate person that everyone loved.
John was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Evie (Marchetti), his father-in-law Jerry Krauss, his brother-in-law Tom MacLean and his dog, Oscar. John is survived by Lori (Krauss), his loving wife of 30 years, his three children: Kathryn, Jack, and Gretchen, sister, Nancy (Kevin) Magarian, Nieces: Alexa (Vartan) and Cara Magarian, Mother-in Law, Sharon Krauss, Sister-In-Law, Jennifer (Krauss) MacLean, Nephews: Matthew and Andrew MacLean and his dog, Moose.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4 -7 PM on Friday, November 19 at Southwest Church 150 Remick Boulevard ,Springboro and a Service at 10:30 AM on Saturday, November 20, at Southwest Church where friends may visit from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
