Charlotte Lynn Jones

Charlotte was born on January 12, 1946 in Middletown, OH to the late Gretchen (Florence) and Estell Duncan.

Devoted wife of 36 years to Wilmer Jones; Loving Mother to Tyson Kemplin, Tonya (Dale) Barnett and Shane (Elisangela) Kemplin; Caring Mamaw, to Tiffani (Brian) Minor, Danielle (Chris) Burnham, Jeffrey (Addison) Jones, Christopher (Shelby) Kemplin, Tiago Humbert, Jake Beculheimer, Cody Beculheimer, Stephen (Amanda) Ericson, Rachel Jones, and Daniell Ross. Proud Nana to Lincoln Minor, Hudson Minor, Malakai Bieller, Grayson Burnham, Maverick Burnham, Landon Burnham, Octavia Kemplin, and Stephen Ericson; sister. Kathy Haag; and, Danny Duncan.

She graduated from Carousel Beauty College in 1979 and was always "on call" for family haircuts. She loved, nannied and touched the lives of so many children over the years. She enjoyed ministering to patients after graduating Kettering Medical Center’s Nursing Assistant Program in 1992.

Charlotte had three great loves- God, her family and flowers. She was a strong woman of great faith and a prayer warrior for her family. She loved with her whole heart. Selfless, she spent her entire life devoted to the needs of her family- that was her “happy place”. She could do anything and was the family “go to” person for so many things- advice, haircuts, recipes and cooking, the removal of various stains, yardwork, food tips, Macy's coupons, the latest and greatest facial creams and make-up, restoring furniture and floral arrangements, she knew it all. She was the glue that has held us all together, always knowing what to do or say. She loved working in her flower beds and received the City Beautiful Award for Miamisburg, three times. The rose was her favorite and exemplified her character. The rose petals -her soft skin and beauty; its stem- her strength; and its leaves- her arms out-stretched always loving and giving.

She has left a great legacy and will forever be “Our Hero”.

Charlotte is preceded in death by her loving son Tyson Wayne Kemplin.

A visitation for Charlotte will be held Tuesday, August 20, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Anderson Funeral Home which is located at 1357 East Second Street, Franklin, OH 45005, followed by a funeral service at 7:00 PM. A private burial will take place at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
